The Scottish TV series "The Merchant Navy" was broadcast throughout Scotland in October/November 2008.
This 6 part documentary style series followed a number of officer trainee through some of their exciting first phases of training.
The series can still be seen on the STV website http://video.stv.tv/bc/Programmes/programmes-themerchantnavy/ and copies may be available for interested groups.
